2. What data we process and why
Contact form. When you write to us through the form we process the data you provide: name and email (required) and, optionally, company, phone, project type and your project description. The purpose is to handle your enquiry, reply to you and, where applicable, prepare a proposal or quote at your request.
Browsing data. For technical and security reasons, our hosting provider records data such as your IP address and server access logs.
We do not use the data you provide in the form for newsletters, personalized advertising, profiling or remarketing.
Advertising measurement (Google Ads). If you give your consent through the cookie notice, we use Google technology (Google tag / Google Ads) to measure, in aggregate, the performance of our advertising campaigns: for example, whether a visit comes from an ad and whether a request is completed through the form. This measurement runs in consent mode (Consent Mode v2): until you accept, it is not activated. We do not use it for personalized advertising or remarketing. You can find the details in our Cookie Policy and withdraw your consent at any time from “Cookie settings”.
3. Legal basis
- Handling your enquiry and contact: the pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to the messages you send us (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Security and operation of the site: our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper functioning of the website (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Advertising measurement (Google Ads): your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
4. Data retention
We keep the form data for as long as necessary to handle your request and, if a professional relationship begins, for as long as it lasts. Once ended, the data will be kept duly blocked for the legally required periods and then deleted.
5. Recipients and providers
To provide the service we rely on providers acting as data processors or recipients:
- Web3Forms: handles the submission of the contact form to deliver your message to us by email.
- Hostinger: the web hosting provider where the site is hosted.
- Google (Google Fonts): the site's fonts are loaded from Google servers, which involves sharing your IP address with Google in order to serve them. This service does not install cookies on your device.
- Google (Google Ads / Google tag): only if you give your consent, to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns. It may install measurement cookies on your device. It is not used for personalized advertising or remarketing.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), mainly in the United States:
- Google (Google Fonts and, with your consent, Google Ads): Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which covers these transfers.
- Web3Forms: according to its documentation, it processes form submissions on servers located in the United States (US-East region). The specific legal mechanism covering this transfer must be confirmed with the provider; you can request information about it at info@webdesignbcn.com.
7. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw any consent given. To do so, write to us at info@webdesignbcn.com stating the right you wish to exercise.
If you believe we have not handled your rights properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes to the site. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document.
